Why Most Are Lost

We have a workshop that helps people find their true purpose in life. It does that by identifying all the unique characteristics of a person's purpose, and then narrowing down those characteristics into what motivates and inspires that person the most, so they can clearly see what to do in life, and who to be as a person - all of which will help them achieve true happiness.

And that’s great, and we are very proud of our workshop, but here's the problem. Getting people to find their true purpose in life is actually quite easy, but getting people to actually live that purpose, is a whole different kind of problem. Most people don't want to change. Most people are comfortable with their routine life, even if it's boring, depressing, or even painful. And that's got a lot to do with the rational mind.

The rational mind is the part of the mind that likes to think things through, weigh up the pros and cons, plan the future, and so on. It does that to keep a person safe, by choosing directions in life that are within certain boundaries, easy to do, mostly accepted by others, and based on a person’s beliefs.

That's all well and good, but unfortunately, the negative mind gets a hold of the rational mind, and heavily influences a person’s rational decisions. The negative mind makes the rational mind overthink, worry, and doubt; to the point where it chooses directions in life that are overcautious, limiting, and mediocre at best; in a way that ignores a person’s real passions, and favours outdated belief systems and patterns of behaviour.

In short, it forces the rational mind to choose the old boring beaten path, rather than the road less travelled.

And that's an old ingrained habit, and that's the problem. People do our workshop, they find their true purpose in life, they get all excited, and go home all motivated and inspired to make a big change in their life. Over the next 48 hours, their rational mind starts to weigh up the pros and cons, and think everything through, and if left alone, would probably come to the realisation that, yes it's time for that person to live the life they’ve always wanted to live.

BUT … if the negative mind gets a hold of the rational mind, it will convince that person that changing their life, by doing what they really want to do, and being who they really want to be, is not the right decision. Instead, the negative mind will convince that person to go back to their old “safe” routine ways, and do what they’ve always done, in the way they’ve always done it. In other words, that person doesn't change, they go back to their old ways, adding to the already established, constant yet subtle, nagging dissatisfaction with their life choices.

And that nagging feeling is their heart, trying to get them to change.

The heart is the negative mind’s nemesis. It wants joy and love, and it will do whatever it takes to get a person to live their true purpose in life, because that’s what creates great joy and love. The heart wants a person to feel really excited, accomplished, passionate, and enlightened. It wants that person to live their dreams, take chances, push the limits. It wants that person to develop skills into exceptional talent. It wants that person to stay true to self and stand up for their unique passionate self-expression. And it wants that person to be enlightened by the deeper wisdom they gain from greater experiences.

And believe it or not, the actual physical heart in the centre of your chest, has its own brain. It thinks for itself and forms part of the mind. But its neural network is not as big as the brain, and so it’s not as powerful a thinker as the negative mind. That means, its positive heart-felt and intuitive feelings are not as strong, and often get drowned out by the bigger negative feelings of the more dominant negative mind.

So, even though the heart is rarely ever wrong, and continuously fights to get a person to follow their true purpose, it often loses the battle. That's why it creates that subtle yet constant nagging dissatisfaction feeling in a person’s heart, to remind that person that they’re not living the life we’re supposed to be living. And if you quiet the mind for a moment, and allow the heart to be more present, you will feel that subtle yet constant nagging dissatisfaction feeling, trying to alert you that you're not doing what you really want to do in life, nor being who you really want to be as a person.

So, what's the solution? Well, people need a system to help them - a powerful set of tools and processes to help them gradually and gracefully change, step-by-step, from where they are now, to where they want to be.

That system has to be powerful enough to counteract the over-cautious persuasion of their negative mind, so they embrace the adventure of life. It needs to help them overcome all the normal “I’m not good enough” self-doubts and criticisms holding them back from creating true talent and success. It needs to help them stand up for themselves, ignore the expectations of others, let go of approval, and do what they really want to do, with passion. And it needs to help them resolve and dissolve their outdated belief systems and negative habits, so they develop a deeper wisdom about themselves, other people, and life.

But, even that’s not enough. This is not a journey people should attempt to take on their own. People need to be supported on their journey. They need a community of like-minded people, doing the exact same thing, who they can communicate and network with, to help and support each other. And people need mentors - people who have already found their purpose, made big changes, and come out the other side more adventurous, talented, passionate, and wiser.

We have such a system, and it’s called the “Live Your True Purpose in Life” workshop. That workshop is based on years of research, and our own experiences of purpose, change, and living big dreams, as well as helping others do the same. It contains the best tools and processes we know to help a person LIVE their true purpose in life.
